About Chantecleer Antiques

In keeping with Dorking's setting as a market town in the picturesque Surrey Hills, Chantecleer derives from the well-known fowl in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, combining Dorking's position on a Medieval Pilgrims' Way with the town's cockerel emblem. The associates, Bruce and Jean at Chantecleer share many decades of experience and enthusiasm in principally, antique furniture and provide a friendly welcome to browsers and enthusiasts alike. With showrooms on several levels, including the spacious half-timbered "barn" to the rear, visitors will find a broad selection of pieces displayed in a relaxed period ambiance.
